📩How to save your key binds.

This will teach you how to save your key binds in multiple different ways.

Step 1. Using YOSBR Mod.

This mod is pretty simple, and I believe it works well, all you need to do is go into your Minecraft folder and copy your options.dat into the folder and that is it. Here is how.

First find your default modded Minecraft folder, whether on modrinth or prism launchers.

Step 2. Scroll down until you find your "options" file.

It will look something like this, make sure to right click and press copy.

Step 3. Scroll back up until you find your "config" folder.

It will be near the top if you have yours filtered by name.

Step 4. Open your config folder and scroll down until you find the YOSBR folder.

This one should be the very last folder.

Step 5. Open that folder and then paste it here **Do not paste it in the config folder**

Paste your options.dat inside that config folder

Step 6. Remove the original options keybinds in the new update to load yosbr configs.

This is a bit unconventional as an existing player, but this will allow you to just remove the options config each time and load your settings easily without worrying about it.

Step 7. If you did all that correctly try updating your game and seeing if your options have been saved.

Follow this tutorial to the best of your ability if youre having a hard time.

If your options have been saved that is good, it'll continue to do so unless you stop removing the original options.dat or until you remove that mod, if that doesn't work, follow the same steps but instead of using YOSBR just keep a copy of your settings and override them each update manually, that isn't the most convenient option but Minecraft isn't very helpful when it comes to that.
